TOUR POLICY ON EVENT ENTRIES

Regular Tour Events

  1. Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis.
  2. All Entry Fees are paid directly to the host club. Make any cheques payable to the host club - not to the Tour.
  3. Your Player ID number and entry fee must be included with your signed entry.
  4. Once tournament capacity has been reached, the host club will put applicants on a wait-list. Positions that become available through withdrawals will be filled in order from the wait-list.
  5. The draw will be posted on the "schedule" page of the Tour Web Site at least 48 hours prior to the start of the event. Do not phone the host club for this information.
  6. "Withdrawals" from an event must notify the host club at least 3 days prior to the date of the tournament. After that date, players withdrawing may be liable for fees.
  7. "No-Shows" forfeit any paid fees. For a subsequent offence, a player risks exclusion from the Tour for the remainder of the season.
  8. "Walk-ons" are not accepted once the field for an event is full. If an event is not full and all wait-listed applicants have been accommodated, inclusion of walk-ons is at the discretion of the host club. The Tour does not encourage walk-ons.  Any walk-ons permitted must be Tour members.

The Tour Championship

  1. This event is open to all Tely Tour members regardless of number of regular Tour events played.
  2. A Division leader and any player within ten (10) Order of Merit points of the leader(s) in his/her division is guaranteed a spot in the field if the entry, including entry fee, is received by the Entry Deadline.
  3. Entries received by the Entry Deadline will be processed in the following prioritized order:  Division leaders and players within 10 Order of Merit points of the leader(s) in his/her division, players who have participated in at least three regular Tour events, other Tour members.

Clinics

  1. Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis.
  2. While there may not be a fee for a clinic, advance registration is required.  Send an email to bwatson@telytour.ca that includes your name, your Tour Player ID number and the clinic you wish to attend.
  3. Entries will be accepted up to the Entry Deadline or until the event quota is reached.
  4. Late entries will be accommodated where possible.
  5. A participant list will be posted on the "schedule" page of the Tour Web Site at least 48 hours prior to the start of the event.
  6. "Walk-ons" are not accepted once the quota for a clinic has been reached. In any case, the Tour does not encourage walk-ons. Any walk-ons permitted must be Tour members.
